Shop Return Policy
A receipt is required for refunds or exchanges. Refunds or exchanges must be completed within 30 days of purchase. Items must be current unused/unworn and in original packaging with original tags. Clearance and discontinued items may not be exchanged or refunded. The merchandise may be exchanged or refunded in any of the GSCP2P council shop locations. Only merchandise purchased from a GSCP2P shop will be exchanged or refunded.
Purchases made by cash will be processed within 14 days after merchandise is returned. A council check will be issued for the purchase amount.
Purchases made by check will have an additional 7 days added to the processing time allowing the check to clear the bank before a refund is issued. A council check will be issued to you for the purchase amount within 21 days.
Purchases made by debit or credit card will be processed immediately and will be refunded on the same card used at the time of purchase. Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont does not retain credit card information and you must present the original card used for us to be able to credit your account.
On-line Shop Return Policy/Refunds
Returns are easy, and for most returns, you do not need to contact customer service. Follow these simple guidelines. Within 30 days after receiving your shipment, you may return any item except final-sale and clearance merchandise. For your protection, we recommend that you use United Parcel Service, FedEx or insured Parcel Post, and wrap the package securely.
Always include a copy of your packing list with a notation indicating:
- The exact nature of the problem ( such as damaged, wrong size/color)
- The corrective action you are requesting (refund or exchange for a different Size or Color of same item purchased)
- Your daytime telephone and/or fax number
If you do not have your packing slip, please indicate the order number (if available) and the name and address of the person who purchased the order on a separate piece of paper. We will refund or credit the value of the item and any taxes you were charged.
Note that shipping and handling fees are not refundable, unless the return resulted from our error. Please allow approximately 14 business days after we've received your return for the refund to be processed. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.
Note that merchandise purchased online may not be returnable at retail shops. Please check with your local retail shop for their policy.
